The Audi A4 was one of my favorite cars for many reasons. First of all, the four cylinder turbo version has a lot of pep for thirty miles per gallon. Secondly, it could get out of two feet of snow without lifting a shovel.

That’s not very environmental friendly. I already mentioned my love for Audi and a few celebrities agree with me: Gisele, BJ Novak, Ben Affleck, and Jude Law.

Mary Carey, a celebrity and veteran of VH1’s Celebrity Rehab, was recently spotted wearing a t-shirt saying “Rehab is for Quitters.” These funny t-shirts are what’s in for fashion. The celebrities have found ways to utilize the constant attention to their own benefit. While she was competing on Dancing With the Stars, Kim Kardashian utilized her family and friends to promote her success by wearing t-shirts that said “Vote for Kim.” Pete Wentz was spotted rocking a early 1990’s Chicago Bulls t-shirt that totally reminded me of an old Detroit Pistons t-shirt I had. My brother rocked the Bulls with Scottie Pippen’s huge and I rocked the Pistons with the great Isaah Thomas. No matter what team you choose, these hilarious t-shirts are the way to go. I personally love t-shirts and I can never have enough. I did a recent overhaul of my closet and found about 20 classic t-shirts that I have owned over the years. Actor Matt Dillon pleaded guilty to speeding charges in Vermont and agreed to pay the $828 fine. Hope he has it in these tough times. The 44 year old actor was nabbed doing 106 miles per hour on interstate 91 in Vermont on December 30th. The excessive speed also drew the charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle. However, like many other cases, the charge was dropped with the speeding plea and fine payment.
Clifford Harris, aka TI, has been sentenced to one year in prison stemming from 2007 weapons charges. Clifford tried to purchase unlicensed automatic machine guns and silencers hours after he headlined for BET’s hip-hop awards. Harris has already served over 1,000 community service hours teaching young kids about the effects of guns, drugs, and violence. He has 30-60 days to report to prison and still has about 500 hours of community service left. We love TI and wish him the best and predict that he will have a successful comeback.
Kimora Lee Simmons, the former 10 year wife of hip hop mogul Russell Simmons is pregnant again. This time it is with actor Djimon Housnou. The owner of Baby Phat already has two daughters with Russell. She divorced Russell in late 2008 so I guess she wasted no time. Maybe it’s because she is 33 years old and feels her biological clock is ticking. Either way, I don’t know the new guy but I think Russell is stand up guy.
It seems as the economy has affected every wealth class in America. Disney/ABC have publicized the need to cut off hundreds of workers in addition the already ESPN layoff earlier this month. Even Stephen Spielberg, who is opening a new DreamWorks studio, is having a difficult time receiving capital to fund the venture. JP Morgan Chase has raised his total to about half the necessary amount of $325 Million Dollars.
