Prince to make history!
April 1st, 2009 I can guarantee that it wasn’t his first threesome, but he did make history with this one. The musician formerly known as Prince played three shows in Los Angeles on March 28th. The shows marked the first time ever that a musician played three different on one evening. The shows were intended to support the release of his new 3-CD compilation due out soon. The musician also appeared on Jay Leno on three different occasions (March 25-27)as a promotional stint. His shows began at 5:30 p.m. at the Nokia theater before he followed with an 8 p.m. show at the Congo room. The final show was 11:30 p.m. at Nokia.
In other concert news, Fall Out Boy will be joined by 50 Cent for five shows on their upcoming tour. 50 Cent has claimed that he thinks it will be something special for fans to perform with the best rock band in the industry. 50 will be playing the following shows: April 14 at Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, CO; April 17 at Nokia Theater in Grand Prairie, TX; April 18 at Sam Houston Race Park in Houston, TX; April 24 at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, NC and April 25 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD.
